Standard site $45/n no discounts for pensioners. Level sites many with slabs otherwise gravel. Great pool to cool down in. Disappointed one vanner invited friends for a day visit to use the pool, We had to move our allocated site because the visitors blocked our access. On-site Swap N Go currently $39/8.5kg. On-site cold beer etc at reception because of restaurant licence. Would have liked more control of visitors activities. Overall good van park.

Large 300 site dog friendly park undergoing an upgrade. Dusty/muddy sites with no sullage being replaced by sites with large concrete slabs with taps & sullage close by. Some construction inconvenience (poorly formed internal roads esp. after rain). Still using the older sites in busy periods. New trees being planted. Good pool & camp kitchen. No playground. No wifi. No unpowered sites. Paid $59/night 2A Ensuite with Seniors discount. Qantas museum & Stockmans Hall of Fame within walking distance & worth a visit. All streets in Longreach are named after birds.

A little disappointed in this park. Ensuite sites are still $55 P/N and are very good, however the other sites do not have sullage and this has resulted in ALL grey water being emptied on to the ground causing bog holes and mud everywhere. If it isn't boggy and muddy it is very dusty and as previously stated the D££££heads consider this to be an invitation to get to their site in the shortest possible time. Other than that the park is located within an easy distance to town. The Woolshed Restaurant is now open again and provides a reasonably priced meal each night.

Do not try to enter this park prior to lunch. If you book an ensuite site - keys to ensuite will only be available from 2pm, even if the site is vacant and hadn't been used recently. Hmmm. Price per site varies due to van length we hear. 3 communal amenities blocks now in this huge park and they looked quite good also. The bar/functions room closed due to COVID.
Average staff friendliness, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $55 for 2A PN, ensuite. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, dump point, no wireless internet available.. Noisy, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- The ensuite was well proportioned, in good condition and worth the extra $$ so no tracking to/fro in the dirt to amenities was required. Location very good
Disliked:- Still very dusty, with the wind and speeding drivers whipping up the dirt
Parking:- Room for 2 in driveway outside reception and lots of street parking outside
Local Information:- Location is great for Qantas and Hall of Fame and walk into town along 'natives footpath' if you're keen; pub meal at Longreach Tavern was sensational.
Road Conditions:- Road out Windorah way real rough for first hour or so out of Longreach, slightly better thereafter but still narrow
